Parfois il suffit de garder les yeux ouverts et d’observer autour de soi. Un éclat de quartz, un rai de lumière, une matière qui appelle la caresse, une géométrie intrigante ou une douce arête tranchante peuvent alors suffire à combler nos doutes.
Dans mes créations, il est surtout question de notre rapport à l’environnement et d’éveil au monde, tel qu’il se présente à nous. Avec un brin de nostalgie, j’invite au ralentissement et à une contemplation réflexive de ce qui nous entoure ; à poser un regard qui se veut poétique et ambigu à travers des créations souvent minutieuses et délicates résultant de longues périodes d’observation.
Je collecte des petits trésors du quotidien et j’explore textures et matières en disséquant des objets et matériaux naturels autant qu’industriels. De ce dialogue entre les opposés, je tire des lignes graphiques et des agencements qui se répondent, s’entremêlent et redéfinissent une autre vision du monde qu’il serait urgent d’adopter.

Sometimes you just have to keep your eyes open and observe your surroundings. A sliver of quartz, a ray of light, a material that draws caresses, intriguing geometry, or a soft sharp edge can be enough to erase our doubts.
My work is mainly about our relationship with the environment and awakening to the world, as it presents itself to us. With a touch of nostalgia, I invite to slowdown and to a reflective contemplation of what surrounds us. To take another poetic and ambiguous look through creations that are often meticulous and delicate and which result from long observation periods.
I collect little treasure from everyday life and I explore textures and materials by dissecting natural as well as industrial materials. From this dialogue between opposites, I draw graphic lines and arrangements that respond to each other, intertwine and define another vision of the world that should urgently be adopted.
